I believe what you may be thinking of is  a token economy system,which is used to give positive reinforcement while providing a visual of the reward as well as showing  the progress made towards  earning that reward. You can make this yourself by using a sheet of paper,construction paper or board(depending on how fancy you want to get) .You will have a spot where you will show a picture of what your child can earn if he gets x amount of stars,happyfaces,tokens,etc. obviously earning those for each time he/she is succeful with the target behavior...in your case successful use of potty/keeping dry or unsoiled pants .
