regressing

I think my son is regressing which is scaring me.  He is 3-years-old and has been fully potty trained for almost a year now. This past week he started having BM's on the floor in the closet. This has happened twice....Should I take him to the doctor?

Re: regressing

Have any significant changes taken place - i.e. deaths, new jobs, school changes, diet changes, etc?  How are you reacting to the accidents?  Are they occuring at specific times?  It is never a bad idea to take the child to the doctor if you feel in your gut something is not right.   Have you have noticed changes in the texture, smell, frequency, etc?  Take a look at all environmental variables.

i dont think he is sick.  i will probably wait to take him to the doctor.  could be attention seeking from his father.  he has been away on business a lot?  however, it normally just occurs at home with me.  have any suggestions for me.

I do not think that is reason to visit a doctor.I would wait I try to find any reason of that behavior. Perheps something happened what make him did that.Try to observe your kid and if you will notice something strange do not hesitate-go and talk with specialist.
