Jessica Leano

Jessica has experience working with autism and related disabilities, she discored her love for special needs kids when she was really young. She is familiar with discrete trial programs and volunteered at special needs classrooms, she has also worked for many families as shadow/respite care and is currently persuing her Bachelors in Psychology at FAU (Boca Raton). Jessica believes each individual is special and creating a significant change on someone is very rewarding, that`s why she puts all her passion into each individual she works with.

Caren Licata

Caren Licata is a Speech/Language Pathologist with 25 years of experience. She is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and is licensed by the State of Florida. A native of New York, she started in the NYC Board of Education and has worked in various settings including private practice, hospitals, nursing homes and schools. She served as Chair of the Speech Department for a Special Education Preschool in NY, serving children birth to 5 yrs, for 8 years. Caren has extensive experience in identifying, assessing and treating children with a variety of speech and language disorders including articulation, language, oral-motor, and pragmatics. Caren relocted to Florida in 2001 and has since been working with children with varying disabilities and needs.

Christina Lovera

Christina Lovera, OTR/L specializes in working with children from birth to adolescence with over 12 years of field experience. She has recently co-authored a manual Ordinary Activities for Extraordinary Kids and handwriting programs called Print Island and Script Island geared for children with disabilities. Christina currently provides onsite staff training and assists with student program development in Butterfly Effects full school inclusion program in West Palm Beach.

Tara Mills

Tara Mills has 9 years and over 18,000 hours experience in assessment, functional analysis, designing, training in and implementation of ABA programs for over 150 children with autism. She holds Master`s degrees in Education and in Psychology. Ms. Mills has presented original research at the International ABA conference, the California ABA conference and the National McNair Scholar`s conference. She is currently enrolled in BACB approved coursework series through Florida Institute of Technology`s ABA Program. As a Butterfly Effects Program Developer, Tara hopes to make meaningful change in her client`s lives with lasting effect.

Tammy Morath

Tammy holds a degree in psychology with honors from Nova Southeastern University and is currently working toward a master`s degree in Counseling with a concentration in Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis. Tammy`s former experiences in nursing and law allow her to bring experience working with children as well as a high regard for professionalism and confidentiality. Tammy sought employment with Butterfly Effects as she has a heart for young people and wants to assist them in obtaining the tools they need for a successful life. Working with Butterfly Effects and their clients will enable Tammy to fulfill her lifelong goal of working with extraordinary children and in return, she will be a strong advocate for the clients she works with.

Anya Moyston

After graduating from Haverford College with a Bachelors in Psychology, Anya Moyston was firm in her resolve to work with children. Anya`s passion came from an amazing volunteer experience at a pre-school early intervention program during college. Prior to joining the Butterfly Effects team, she worked as a Child Advocate with ChildNet, a child protection agency. Since completion of her training as a Butterfly Effects Program Implementer, Anya has held various positions working in the school and home setting providing ABA services. Anya is currently attending graduate school to receive her Masters and Specialist degree in School Psychology as well as her BCBA certification.

Billie OConnor

Billie O’Connor received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from University of Central Florida. She began as a behavior specialist working at Sunland Development Center in Gainesville, FL. Her interest in Behavior Analysis developed while working with Dr. Brian Iwata’s graduate students at the Center. Her interest continued to increase while taking some post-baccalaureate classes in Behavior Analysis at University of Florida. She is currently studying to become a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst. She has over 22 years of experiences working with individuals with varying degrees of developmental disabilities, autism and over 3 years experience working with individuals with traumatic brain injury. She has seen the success that Behavior Analysis can bring to individuals and joined Butterfly Effects because this team shares her passion.

Shanna Patton

Shanna received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in December of 2007. She previously worked as an Instructor at The Mariposa School for Children with Autism in Cary, NC. While there she provided intensive individualized instruction to children with autism. She targeted a broad range of educational, behavioral, speech, social, and motor dysfunctions in a single integrated setting based on verbal behavior and applied behavior analysis. Shanna loves working with children and loves making a difference in the lives of other people. That is her inspiration for working with this population and why she wanted to join the Butterfly Effects Team.

Natalia Perez

Natalia Perez has a BA in Psychology from FIU and is a student at NOVA Southeastern University where she plans to get her Masters degree as a Mental Health Counselor as well as her BCBA certification. She has worked with diverse populations, thanks to the fact that she is bilingual (English-Spanish), especially with children with Autism and has great experience on Reduction Behavior. Natalia has more than one year on the field and is sure that communication among caregivers, implementers and BCBA is the key for success and progress.

Jill Pignatiello

Jill Pignatiello has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for over 8 years. She has also worked as a behavior therapist, teacher in a classroom for children with autism and other developmental delays, parent trainer, staff trainer, program developer and a director of a small school for children with autism. Jill has had the opportunity to work with many children and families in various states around the country.
