Molly Schweitzer

Molly Schweitzer received her undergraduate degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences from the University of Maryland College Park. She went on to get her Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Nova Southeastern University. Molly has been a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association since September 2003. She has been practicing Speech-Language Pathology over the past 5 years in a variety of settings from home health to Broward County School System. Working with a variety of disabilities including Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Tramatic Brain Injury, language disorders, and articulation disorders, she has provided services to children ages birth to 18. Services have included oral motor therapy, feeding programs, language and articulation therapy.

Fallon Sheppard

Fallon Sheppard is an undergraduate student at the University of Miami, working on a BS in Psychology with minors in both Biology and Art History. One of her greatest passions in life has always been helping people, in whichever way she can, and has come to Butterfly Effects to do just that! She is excited to challenge herself and help make a difference in a world that many tend to be apathetic towards. Fallon finds children to be extremely genuine and honest, and looks forward to both teaching and learning from them.

Mathew Snyder

Matt joined the Butterfly Effects team in 2008 as a program implementer. He has over 4 years experience working with children and adults with various disabilities including autism and blindness. Before working for Butterfly Effects he worked as a team leader in a day program for adults with autism and in a residential facility for blind children with various disabilities.

Aliyah Sonner

Aliyah Sonner, a native of Southern California received her Bachelor`s degrees in both Psychology and Gender Studies from the University of California in San Diego in 2000. She went on receive her Master`s in Psychology from Chapman University in 2003. Aliyah is a LMFT and has a lot of experience working with children and families both in and out of the foster care system. After moving to Florida in December 2005 and working for SAMH, Aliyah became exposed to Behavior Analysis and began taking courses at FIT. She is currently working towards certification as a BCBA and is excited to continue gaining experience working with different populations.

Ms. Fran Stein

Fran Stein, MS, OTR/L received her B.A. in Psychology from University of Maryland, College Park and her M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University in New York where she specialized in pediatrics. She has a great deal of experience working with children including her work in both the New York City Public School system and the Miami Dade Public School system, as well as in private practice and home health settings. Fran has worked as a Lovaas Behavior Modification Therapist and has experience in Tomatis Listening Therapy. She enjoys working with children and works hard to ensure that each child will reach his/her fullest potential.

Ruth Strunck

Ms. Strunck serves as the area coordinator of services in NC. She has a BFA, and is Nationally Certified in Massage therapy with two published studies on Autism and Massage. Ruth moved with her Family from Florida three years ago. there she served as President of the Broward County Autism Society for three years, and conceived SPEC Group inc., Ruth advocated with State law makers, and served on a State appointed Task Force that assisted in redesigning the Medicaid Waiver Program. In N.C. Ms. Strunck serves on the board of the Union County Autism Society, she conceived the Autism Task Force which works with The Union County School System. Ms. Strunck assisted in broadening behavioral service choices for those who recieve Waiver services, and has recently been named Parent of The year by the Union County ARC. Ruth is the proud Parent of two children living with Autism.

Jessica Sultenfuss

Jessica Sultenfuss received her B.S. in psychology from Florida State University and her M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of South Florida. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and she also has a teaching certificate in Exceptional Student Education. She has enjoyed teaching elementary-aged children with autism in school settings and has provided behavioral consultation to teachers in within the school system regarding both individual and class-wide behavior strategies. Her experience also includes behavioral consulting with parents and staff in home and community-based settings regarding behavioral challenges of children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities. Jessica came to Butterfly Effects to be able to integrate her professional experience in home and school settings to promote positive achievements for others.

Tara Tallaksen

Tara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University . She is currently working toward her Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis. Tara is a Florida Certified teacher with dual certification in Exceptional Student Education as well as preschool education. Tara has worked with exceptional students for over ten years. She worked as classroom teacher for students with varying exceptionalities, as well as a consultant for Head Start programs and as an Early Intervention Specialist working with children birth to three years and their families.

Daniela Tricoche

Butterfly Effects has provided Daniela a home as a provider of quality behavioral services as well as being the back bone and structure of her own son’s behavioral programs. As a parent of a ten year old diagnosed with severe autism and an experienced ABA therapist her mission is to bridge the gap between parents and professionals. Step by step, working the puzzle together you can help your children reach their fullest potential and make lasting meaningful changes in their quality of life. Maria Uribe

Maria Uribe, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Florida Atlantic University and her Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis at Florida International University, both with honors. During her post-graduate work, Maria was selected to be a research assistant, and has also accepted a position as an adjunct professor of behavior analysis at Florida International University, starting in the fall of 2008. She has broad experience providing and supervising behavioral services to individuals with developmental disabilities in all settings, including home, group homes, in-patient mental heath, and at a center based setting. Maria`s approach to achieving results for her clients involves heavy parental involvement and a lot of patience. Maria is fluent in Spanish and English.
