If you are raising a son or daughter with Autism and are a United States military family participating in the TRICARE program, you may be eligible for intensive services from Butterfly Effects that can dramatically impact how your child develops and finds connection and success.  

This cutting-edge approach to treatment has been employed across the nation over the past four years during the Autism Services Demonstration.
The program specifically covers  interventions based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and focused on treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The success of the demonstration has led the Department of Defense to take steps to begin making these services a permanent benefit for qualifying individuals.

That success has largely been measured by the most important metric, the satisfaction of participating families. These families have found that intensive ABA-based services:

• Help improve both the cognitive and functional level of their children, including the ability to communicate
• Makes their children more prepared to succeed in school
• Removes significant amounts of stress off the shoulders of parents
  
• Teaches them how to better communicate with, teach, and support their children

ABA-based therapy is the only scientifically proven, FDA-approved intervention for children with Autism.
The military benefit allows children to receive at least 20 hours of direct one-on-one interaction with a certified behavioral tutor who employs constant encouragement and continuous positive reinforcement as the principal means to replace problematic behaviors and teach news ones. Each tutor is supported by a senior supervisor who helps develop a treatment plan with families and makes routines home visits to ensure the success of the intervention.

The service is provided in the natural environment of your home.
When the child is ready, the new behaviors are generalized in school and out in the community.

Butterfly Effects continues to serve as a principal participant in the demonstration and is a TRICARE-approved provider.
