Pre-Employment Requirements
We are very serious about the quality and effectiveness of our programs and services and our pre-employment qualifications are used to ensure that everyone has required basic knowledge and course work taken. We have listed the courses below, which also include a list of companies that offer those courses.
Please note: Completion of course work through Butterfly Effects, LLC or any associated companies does not guarantee employment with Butterfly Effects. Employment is based on certifications, professional experience, availability, and an in person interview.
You must have the following in order to apply for a Program Implementer position with our company:
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Professional Crisis Management (PCM) Certification
You must have the following in order to apply for a Program Developer position with our company:
- Certification as a BCABA or BCBA or
- Masters Degree in a relevant field with 1000 Hours of completed supervision enrolled in a BACB approved coursework series or
- PhD/EdD in relevant field

Where can I obtain these pre-employment requirements?
CPR/First Aid Certification: This can be obtained through live courses from your local American Red Cross Chapter. Courses are also being offered online for initial and recertification. To locate an online course, search "CPR certification courses online" to find out what is available.
Professional Crisis Management (PCM) Certification: For more information on upcoming training, contact PCMA, Inc.
Butterfly Effect’s PCM Training is also offered monthly by certified PCM instructors. To register for Butterfly Effects PCM Training, call our main office at (954) 603-7885. The course is two days and cost is $175 and must be paid in full at registration. To register for Butterfly Effects PCM Training, you must:
- Complete and fax in the PCM Registration Form.
