Vannessa comes from the Mental health sector and worked for the District Health Board in New Zealand with a focus in Disability Intensive case management. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and has worked hands on with a wide array of population with autism, physical and intellectual disabilities. She also previously took on projects to work with minor ethnic groups in the community, successfully utilizing her language skills and diverse cultural roots to raise awareness and achieve social outreach for these groups.

While in Florida, she had also combined this background with Human Resources management and Hospitality experience; she brings with her a unique set of skills sets to Butterfly Effects, being able to manage the Human Resource component with a focus on quality health care recruitment, training and retention.

She has an assorted range of interests outside of her profession - she absolutely loves dancing, rock-climbing, traveling and reading.
