Rakesh K Raman completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego with a B.S. in General Biology and a Minor in Health Care and Social Issues. He subsequently graduated from medical school at ROSS University, having gained a particular interest in behavioral health. He completed several rotations in the field of psychiatry, including a forensic psychiatry rotation, as well as a pediatrics rotation, where he assisted in the medical management of various children with behavioral disorders. He has a diversified cultural background in which he has lived in India, England, and much of southern California at various points in his life. Rakesh even partook in a summer internship at a deemed medical institute in India, during the summer of 2003. He hopes to continue his career path in behavioral/mental health within a clinical practitioner role.
